Interesting - I thought the unspoken policy was to let sleeping dogs lie on this one.....
It's a positive step, but until we've an openly gay MP for one of the conservative, rural shire seats - or more accurately, until an openly gay Conservative is selected as candidate for one of these seats - it doesn't mean much.
(ps - are we allowed to hold Alan Duncan up here as a fine example of Tory equality, or is he still persona non grata for his comments re expenses?)
